Oracle default SID list
The following table contains default SIDs of Oracle and 3rd party products like SAP or IXOS. To create a tnsnames.ora entry it is necessary to specify a SID or SERVICE name.
Until Oracle 9i it was possible to get the SID via a simple listener request (e.g. lsnrctl status). This does no longer work in Oracle 10g.
If you are aware of additional default SIDs you can send me an email (ak@red-database-security.com)
